The competing teams will be determined on their final ranking at the 2011 World Junior Curling Championships and regional qualifications which will take place in January 2012.

The Men's and Women's winners of the 2012 Pacific Junior Curling Championships in Korea will secure the Pacific spots at this tournament.

Australia, China, Japan, Korea and New Zealand will compete at the Pacific Junior CCs.
