Eeva Röthlisberger, the World Curling Federation's Development Officer, would like to hear from those keen to develop their coaching skills at the WCF Junior Coaching Camp in Naseby over the New Year period (30 December - 4 January).

She says, "As most of you already know, we have decided to try and start a Junior Camp in the Pacific-Asia Region. An Umpire Basic Course will also be held in the two days leading up to the Junior Camp at the same location."

"We require 4 Assistants to help run the camp. Becoming an assistant is a great opportunity to learn from the qualified Coaches. As at our other camps, the Assistants require to pay their own costs to get to Naseby and back. On site their accommodation and meals will be provided. Should we have more than 4 assistants, then the costs of the accommodation and meals will have to be partially covered by them, but we would also accept more, as we believe that this is great opportunity for them to gain coaching experience."

Eeva concludes, "I hope that we will get enough interest from participants and assistants, so that we can run this camp for the first time ever and give Juniors in the Pacific-Asia Region a chance to develop their skills and to make a lot of new friends amongst other Junior Curlers."
