High Performance Development Plan released PDF Print E-mail
Written by NZ Curling Association
Friday, 09 October 2009

The NZCA Executive has adopted a programme drafted by Sharon Morrison, National Coach, for the ongoing development of curling athletes. The ultimate aim is to improve the results at international level so that podium finishes become the norm rather than the exception.

The programme defines where the programme fits in the different tiers of athlete training, from initial talent identification through long term athlete development to the high performance level.

It also introduces the parallel development of a wheelchair curling programme.
