14 Sep 2010 – This NZ Curling Association invites comments from members on a proposed change to the selection policy for National teams – should they be selected teams as at present, or should the team which wins the applicable NZ Championship become the New Zealand team for the following year?

Entry forms for the NZ Secondary Schools and NZ Under 21 Championships in Dunedin are also included.

5 Aug 2010 – The NZ Curling Association's August newsletter details the national tournaments still to be played this year, confirms the NZ Open and Senior teams for upcoming tournaments and summarises July's major outdoor events – The Bonspiel, the Idaburn Trophy and the Nicolson Trophy.

8 Jul 2010 – Alpine Curling Club are the proud holders of the Snuff Box trophy after winning their first National Bonspiel since the club was founded 115 years ago, at nearby St Bathans in 1895. They recorded a perfect 8 wins from their 8 games to finish clear winners.

Second were 9-time winners Blackstone Hill CC, celebrating their 125th year, with 6 wins and 170 points scored. Just behind them were 2001 winners Dunedin Country CC with 6 wins and 168 points.

11 Mar 2010 – The NZ Curling Association's second newsletter for 2010 gives notice of the Annual General Meeting, including a recommendation for a new "associate membership" category to the NZCA.

The Association's 5-year Strategic Plan has been updated for 2010-2015, nominations for NZ team selectors and officials are requested, and there is an update on the NZ teams for next month's World Seniors and Mixed Doubles Championships in Russia.
