NZ Junior Mixed Doubles Championship
Entries open on Monday, 6th April 2026. Entries close midnight on 31st May. Teams must enter on time to secure their place in the competition.

Teams must ensure payment is completed by the start of the tournament, or they may be unable to take the ice. The skip (or a nominated team member) is responsible for prompt payment.
Tournament Information:
- The tournament is expected to begin on Thursday, 30 July, with teams required to be available from 8:30 am. The final round will likely be held at approximately 3:30 pm on Sunday, 2 August, with prize-giving to follow.
- Dates and start times will be confirmed once entries have been received.
- The tournament draw will be confirmed approximately one week after entries close, or as advised.
- Teams are advised not to book flights until the draw has been confirmed. NZCA takes no responsibility for travel booked outside the advised tournament dates.
- It is likely that the final will follow a best-of-three format, in which the result of any prior pool-play game between the finalists may be carried forward.
Eligibility & Conditions:
- All entrants must be under 21 years of age as at 30 June 2026 to be eligible to enter this tournament.
- All entrants must be affiliated with a club, NZCA directly, or MAP. Please contact the NZCA Secretary for more details. This does not apply to Secondary School students.
- Player eligibility and playing conditions are governed by NZCA Tournament Procedures and World Curling (WC) Rules.
- If you do not yet have a Mixed Doubles partner, please contact the NZCA Administration Officer, and we will assist you in finding one, although this can't be guaranteed.
Team Uniforms: NZCA encourages teams to wear matching tops or uniforms so that team members are easily identifiable.
Pre-Competition Practice: To allow time for ice preparation, no team may practice on the ice later than 3 hours before the commencement of the tournament, or as advised in the tournament rules accompanying the draw.
