Entry Details

Championship History: Men

  • The team entry fee is $400. The skip (or other player nominated) is responsible for prompt payment in full on entry. Invoices are available on request. Click here to see the NZCA Competitions - Player information document for full details.
  • All teams are to enter by the date listed.  No late entries will be accepted unless in special circumstances, but there is no guarantee of a place in the tournament.
  • All entrants must be affiliated with a Club, NZCA directly or MCI. Please contact NZCA Secretary for more details. Note, this does not apply to Secondary School Students.
  • Player eligibility and playing conditions are as set down in the New Zealand Curling Association Inc Tournament Procedures Document and the WCF Rules of Curling.
  • Team Uniforms: NZCA encourages teams to wear match tops/and or uniforms in tournaments so team members are easily identifiable.

Tournament Format

  • The Tournament Format will be confirmed and made avaliable once entries are received and the draw is completed.
  • Teams should be available to play from late afternoon on Thursday 16th June - Sunday 19th June, with prize giving being held at 3 pm (approximately). TBC once the draw is complete
  • No team is allowed to practice on the ice later than 2½ hours prior to the commencement of a NZCA National Curling Championship to allow for Ice preparation.
  • No team is allowed to practice with the NZCA Competition Stones prior to a National Curling Championship and must follow the NZCA Competition Stone Guidelines for their use.
  • Games will be played under WCF rules.
  • Competitors are to adhere to the Covid guidelines. If you are feeling unwell, please stay at home.
